He then went on to manage a rented farm with his wife and family producing beef, pork, lamb and mutton to supply local high end restaurants, undergoing organic conversion and being instrumental in devising marketing strategies for the business. Since then he has worked as shepherd on a 2500 estate, before going on to manage a 500 acre organic sheep and cattle estate and is now manager of a start up 500 acre estate in Sussex.
